I Hear That! JK Take a Bow January 25, 2008 I own a CTA round speaker system that I use at work. CTA Digital IP-RS2 Sound Stage Speaker with Docking Station for iPodIt okay for background music as it it is a noisy office, Sound quality does not matter much. I wanted a speaker system for my kitchen. Mood music while I get creative! I searched Bye bye )and stopped by this item Jabra S5010 Klipsch Stereo Speaker many times. After reading many reviews I bought it. As soon as I pressed enter Fed Ex was there. (The next day!) As I took it out the box I admired the workmanship it didn't sit flat on the table but on a pedastal. What were all those wires?! I soon sorted them out. And plugged it in. I own a Creative zen sleek photo 20GB.Creative Labs Zen Sleek Photo Digital Media Player (White/Silver) My taste varies. First came War a bass driven funky group. the bass was not earth shattering but is was crisp and sharp. Next Chris Botti the horn solo was breath taking and filled the kitchen. Then a string quartet, just beautiful, the voilins sweet and high with no distortion. You will have to adjust your equalizer inside your MP3 to appreciate the sound this speaker system puts out.I love it. Just wish it had a remote! ( Me and Baby brother) Update: A friend an audiophile wants one now that he's heard mine. But he's not going to find the price I found (50.00)

Update:4/15/08 Last week the price dropped again to 50.00 I scooped it up. My daughter's Birthday was coming up, she had glanced longingly at my "new kitchen appliance". My friend the Audiophile had arrived before she did and had wanted to test it out. He didn't know it was a present and was trying to buy it from me. Before I could gift wrap it for her he had taken out the box and was "testing it" My daughter arrived disappointed she had just got some new Ipod thing from her job that "Ipod Phone"? Has everything but the phone. She won it at a raffle. My bad! I raised my kids on Creative products. (Maybe she can sell it on E-bay.) But back to these speakers! Everyone who has heard them is impressed. And my darling first born thought I had bought it for him not her! Her birthday is in June but me and her sister knew what she wanted. Well at the end of our Sunday Dinner was she surprised to see me packing it up and presenting it to her! Well my male friend is miffed after all he is only a friend. (Absolutely Platonic) This now goes back to my wish list I gotta buy him one too.
Dont be fooled by this January 12, 2008 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
This product is not an actual stereo. Instead it is a good sounding mono system. If you dont believe me, play something that has a lot of seperation and you will notice that one side of your sound does not appear at all. A lot of Jabra's literature also calls it a hi-fi and calls it a "speaker" not speakers.
I called Jabra to ask them about this, and they confirmed that there is only one speaker in the enclosure not two seperate ones. Also, you will not be able to charge your mp3 player or phone with this system either. It just sits in the middle with no connection.
WOW! Big Sound From a Small Device December 26, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
From the moment you open the box, you can tell this speaker system is high quality. It weighs a ton and is very well constructed.
I have an iaudio 7 (The audiophile's MP3 Player) and when I hooked it up, I was shocked by the clarity and abundance of bass. I will use this system often, I'm even considering gettng a second one for the garage.
I've heard a number of MP3 docking speakers and this one is the best, as good if not better sound than my mother in law's Bose dock for a lot less.
Buy this speaker system, you can't go wrong!
Great sound in a small package. December 25, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this thinking it would be a great speaker system for my Toshiba Gigabeat, my daughter's Zune, and my son's Archos 604. I was right! We are all THRILLED. I put the Jabra in the corner of our living room and was almost brought to tears when I heard my favorite songs in my favorite room of the house. I can't wait for my friends to hear how great this little thing sounds.
Owns it's corner...Excellent quality all around December 21, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've always heard good thingsabout Klipsch speakers, and I must say I was not disappointed with these. I bought it for my 550 sq. ft. apartment, and despite it's size, I'm satisfied with the volume. It also connected very neat and flush with my cell phone or iPod, so it looks pretty snazzy.
Everything about the unit screams quality...it's heavier and much better constructed than the iPod speakers you'll find heavily discounted at your local drugstore. It sounds very full. I feel that I essentially got a Bose stand-alone speaker for about 1/3 the price.
It comes with all the connectors you'll need to connect a cell phone or MP3 player: (1) 2.5 mm miniplug (cellphone standard (2) 3.5 mm miniplug (most MP3 players including iPod) (3) mini USB (some portable devices).
To avoid confusion, know the connectors are not neatly arranged wafers that neatly cradle, say, your iPod...it would be impossible to be multiformat that way without an over-sized cradle. But there are rubber gaskets that keep the wires that connect to the MP3 player hidden from view.
While I'm not sure this would fill up more than my 550 sq. ft. apartment, it sounds fantastic and carries it's weight very well for its compact size. A++
